Association of Slovenian Nature Photographers combines Nature photographers with a view to enhancing nature photography and care for nature conservation..
The Association was founded on April 5, 2017 in Ljubljana, where it also has its seat.
The aims and purpose of the association is to promote and popularise the author's nature photography and to create a positive attitude towards nature with photographs of nature in society. By organizing photographic competitions, exhibitions, projections, and lectures among photographers, to stimulate the interest and popularisation of nature photography, while at the same time enabling education for members of the association as well as for the wider community.
Since January 1, 2018 the Association is member of International Federation of Wildlive Photography.
Nature Photographer is an artist who shows a passion for nature in art.
Nature photography refers to a wide range of photography taken outdoors and devoted to displaying natural elements such as landscapes, wildlife, plants, and close-ups of natural scenes and textures. Nature photography tends to put a stronger emphasis on the aesthetic value of the photo than other photography genres.
